Overview
The Boyfriend from Grammas Sausages is a nice and girthy prosthetic intended for sex. You can actually choose between 3 different densities: soft (for packing), Harder (pack n’ play), and “Built Ford Tough” (play). The one I have is the “harder” one, which is actually supposed to be a pack n’ play, but let me just say right off the bat, it’s too big and too rigid to pack with. Maybe it’s a “me” problem, but there’s only one real pack n’ play that I feel works in both packing and playing, and that’s the Peecock. And even at that, it’s not perfect. So, even though the BF is supposed to be a pack n’ play, but really it’s only good for playing, I’m still giving it a 3/5 because it looks realistic and feels nice. It’s pretty cool that they do a custom color option at no additional charge. This way you can contact them and send them a picture of your skin tone, or whatever color you want, and they will color match it. Very cool. Other companies charge hundreds for this feature, so this is A++ for me!

Material and Feel
This prosthetic is made of 100% silicone and does not feel sticky/tacky at all. The one I have is the dual-density model and there is a thin silicone layer on top, mimicking skin. It’s actually pretty cool because you can see multiple layers. Full disclosure, I used this baby A LOT and then I was taking photos and mini videos for this blog post, that thin layer of “skin” ripped. I messaged the company and they said this isn’t something that they have seen. I can sometimes be rough with my toys when I’m testing them out for reviews, so I can see how it could have been my fault. Whoooppps! Anyways, just a cautionary tale to remind you to treat your peens with care. Tuck them in at night, read them a bedtime story. Kiss their little head.

Sex
Penetrating
The BF feels good to penetrate with. You can use a standard harness like the SpareParts Harness or some Harness Underwear. The only issue I have is that we live in a world with so many options that will pleasure the wearer at the same time while penetrating their partner, so I always feel like theres something missing when using a prosthetic like this. However, if you’re looking for a standard looking peen that does what it’s supposed to do, this should do!
I recommend using the SpareParts Joque harness with this. This harness is fantastic and makes it very easy to adjust before sex and then you don’t have to adjust again. Other harnesses have issues sometimes where you have to keep adjusting while you’re thrusting, which is not great. Now, some people don’t really like the feel of a harness (I often don’t), so there is another options. Some companies have come out with underwear-type harnesses. These are great because it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a harness at all, just undies. HOWEVER!!! There is one big problem I have with these types of harnesses. When you go in to penetrate someone and you start to pull out, there is a delay to when the prosthetic gets pulled out based on how loose the underwear are. Actually, I’ve worn some way too small for me and I still found that there was a delay. Some people are okay with this but my biggest issue is that I can’t really tell how deep I am or how much I’ve pulled out. I want to be able to move with the prosthetic as if it was connected to me! When I wear those underwear harnesses, it just causes dysphoria. Not the vibe I’m looking for.
Being Penetrated
Ok so I actually really like this a lot. I thought I wouldn’t because the head has these weird ridges on it, but I honestly don’t feel them at all. So full disclosure, my partner penetrating me with this happened once, and it was nice. But I’ve literally used this prosthetic for solo play so much more than I ever thought I would? I make a lot of content for Fansly and I’ve found myself continuously going back to the BF when I want something nice and girthy and realistic feeling. I have A LOT of options when it comes to that department, so the fact that I keep going back should tell you something!
Anal
The “Harder” is hard and rigid enough to do anal with. I wouldn’t recommend it for first time anal, as you need good grasp and control for that, but if the person is accustomed to having things in their booty, then you’re good to go!

Packing
So, it’s going to be a no from me. I understand that this prosthetic does also come in a softer, more squishy silicone, however, the “pack n’ play” model, for me, is too big and rigid. It literally looks like I have the world biggest boner. I know some people like packing this way so they are ready to go if any sexual activity were to start. But for me, it’s just too much to have a snake in my pants all day you know?
Real Feel Test™
Looks pretty realistic! The only thing I can say is the paint job can sometimes look a little blotchy. Sometimes it’s shiny on some parts of the prosthetic, and other places it’ll be more of a matte finish? No idea why. The weird head ridges make it look points also.
This surprised me because of the head. I know I know, I keep talking about the head. But really, what is up with that texture? Anyways, yes, the prosthetic feels realistic!
I mean….. If you’re packing with this and someone is rubbing it through your pants, it’s going to feel like a very erect penis, so yes?

Cleaning and Care
I recommend cleaning this product before and after each use.
The 100% silicone component makes this prosthetic easy to clean and sterilize. The easiest way to clean this product is with hot soapy water. If you need to sterilize this product (which we recommend doing at least once a week), put it in a boiling pot of water for 3-5 minutes. Because this product is made of 100% silicone, boiling it is 100% safe.
I’ve been using this prosthetic for years and it has never become sticky for me. However, If you find that the prosthetic is tacky/sticky after cleaning it, I always recommend using cornstarch (or other rejuvenating powders) to maintain a smooth and silky texture.
*Please do not use talcum powder (most commonly found in baby powder), it has been associated with different types of cancers, mostly ovarian cancer. We have a full article on the dangers of talcum power here.
Storage
I recommend storing these in a cloth bag away from other prosthetics and toys you may have. Keep them at room temperature.

This prosthetic feels super sturdy and durable, but because the skin layer ripped, it’ll lose some marks.
I’m giving it a 2 because $249 on the pricier side. Although, you can get it in a custom color, which is super cool.
Yup, it works. I’m not going to give it a 4 only because I feel like it’s missing something for the wearer to feel pleasure.
Nope. Too big. I’ll give it a 1 though because you CAN pack with it. I’ve had prosthetics that were “pack n’ plays” that literally were 9” and the girth of a soda can. This packer is much more manageable than that.
Final Thoughts
This prosthetic surprised me. Honestly, when I took it out of the box I was like …. “Hmmmmm ok, this looks good but what is that texture on the head????”. Well, I’m glad I still gave The Boyfriend a chance because he did not disappoint. I love the realistic color job, and that you can get it custom colored if you want! And I love the sensation when you’re being penetrated by it. It really does feel realistic! What I wish for the future of The Boyfriend? Something that helps the wearer feel more pleasure when penetrating their partner. Overall, if you’re looking for a prosthetic for sex that feels and looks realistic, The Boyfriend might the winner. Especially when looking at other companies like Reel Magik or Emisil who have realistic prosthetics that start at $500!
