Overview

The Performance Packer is made by Blush Novelties and is a thinner packer than others on the market. This would be a great packer for youth and people who are smaller, however, the shaft is a little long. The great thing about this packer is that it squishes really easily and if you wear tight briefs, you can kind of squish it into being smaller. The performance packer is not made of silicone, this is important to know as it means it’s not skin-safe and you shouldn’t put it directly on your skin.

It’s not going to get better than this for only $15

The Great

  • Budget Friendly – One of the more inexpensive packers on the market
  • Small in size, great for people who do not want to pack big
  • Easy to pack with

The Not-so-Great

  • Secretes and leaves a very oily/greasy residue in your hands and wherever you store it.
  • Not made out of silicone which means it can harbour bacteria if not cleaned properly
  • Does not last very long, you have to store it properly or the material will secret oils and eventually lose its size and shape.
  • Only available in 2 skin shades. The darkest shade is not very dark.

Unboxing

The Performance Packer comes in a box. This packer is somewhat oily/greasy, so sometimes there will be some greasy stains on the box. When I got mine, the packer inside the box came in a small bag, but it was super oily.

I know a lot of people wonder what the actual shipping box looks like and it’s tough to really say because this prosthetic is sold by many different online retailers. If you are ever unsure, you can always message the company you are purchasing from and ask them what they put on the box! The retailer that I prefer is Early2Bed and I can tell you that living in Canada and receiving a package from the USA, I’m always terrified the customs declaration form is going to say something like “big wiener”. Luckily, that has never happened with Early2Bed. They also didn’t even put the return address as “Early2Bed” they put “ETB”.

Fun little story, I ordered sex toys from Wish (as a joke for a video) once and one of the packages literally said “giant dildo” on the customs form. I’m sure the Canadian Border people had a nice laugh. I sure did.

Color

The Performance Packer only comes in 2 skin tone shades. The “darker” shade is very light and barely looks like a light brown. At most, it is a very dark peach color. If you are someone with darker skin and are looking for a packer that matches your skin tones more closely AND still wants a packer at a budget-friendly price, I recommend looking at the Silicone Packer from Packer Gear.

Size

Total length: 5” / 12.7cm

Shaft Length: 4” / 10.2cm (measured from the underside)

Width: about 1.25” / 3.2cm

Weight: 4oz / 114g

Material and Feel

Because of the plastic rubber material, this packer will secret oily/greasy residue. I mention this often because it’s important to understand. Here is just a little explanation: during the writing process of this review I had to pick up the packer multiple times and my hands ended up with a small layer of the secreted oils. It’s a good idea to wash your hands after every time you touch this packer or else the oil just stays on your hands. This is something you will have to do each time you wear it, but for $15, you shouldn’t expect something perfect.

The reason why it’s technically not skin-safe is because it’s porous. This means that bacteria can be absorbed within the materials and can cause infections……in your area. This is something we want to avoid. As you can see from the zoomed in photo, the packer looks a little dirty. This is even after cleaning it. Its a magnet for cat hair and dust!

This packer is also very floppy, like it almost feels like its going to fall out of your hands. Kind of like ones of those “water wigglies” from the dollar store:

Here is a clip of me squishing it in all directions. You can really see how stretchy this packer is!

Packing

Since this packer is not made with silicone and it is made with a plastic rubber, I do not recommend packing it on your bare skin. It is best to use some type of packing underwear or packing pouch as some people may have sensitive skin and the plastic rubber ingredients may irritate the area. No one wants an irritated….area…..

Here is a video of me grabbing the Performance Packer.

In the following photos, I am packing with the Performance Packer in a downward angle (the packer naturally hangs this way)

The three next photos show me packing with the Performance Packer UP. It feels a little awkward.

Real Feel Test™

Visual Realism 2.5/5

This packer visually looks realistic enough even though it is not custom painted and it only comes in the one solid color you chose (vanilla or mocha). Sometimes the head of the vanilla is slightly colored pink. The balls do not look realistic at all. They look like to large grapes squished together. The shaft and head are very skinny. There is nothing wrong with having a skinny penis. However, if you are looking for something more girthy, I would look elsewhere.

Touch Realism (Through Pants) 3/5

If you (or someone else) touches this packer through underwear or pants, it will feel like an extremely flaccid penis. Almost like the penis is just skin and has no…innards…. Still though, it could pass the “grab” test.

Touch Realism (Skin-Like) 2/5

As mentioned, this packer secrets a lot of oily/greasy residue and it makes it not very fun to touch. However, if you add finishing powder (or corn starch) on it, it will make it softer and the powder will help absorb the oils. This makes it much softer to the touch and feels a little more like skin.

Cleaning and Care

I recommend cleaning this product before and after each use.

This product is made with a mix of silicone and other materials. The easiest way to clean this packer is with hot soapy water. I usually recommend sterilizing your packer at least once a week in a pot of boiling water, and/or sticking it in the dishwasher, however, because this packer is not 100% silicone,  soapy water is the only option.

If you find that the packer is tacky/sticky after cleaning it, I am a huge advocate of using cornstarch (or other rejuvenating powders) to maintain a smooth and silky texture.

*Please do not use talcum powder (most commonly found in baby powder), it has been associated with different types of cancers, mostly ovarian cancer. We have a full article on the dangers of talcum power here.

Storage

I recommend using the original packaging or a natural canvas bag. Place this product in a cool, dry, and dark place, like a dresser drawer. Do not store it with other similar-material products as those eventually can start to morph together, which is really not fun. Sometimes, these products secrete an oily texture and a canvas bag will help absorb this moisture. If you do not store your packer properly, overtime it can secrets oils and eventually lose its shape and size (it will become smaller).

Small Tip: Add a little bit of cornstarch to this product before storing it in a bag. This will help its life and longevity.

Durability 1/5

Since this packer is not made out of silicone, it will not last a long time. If you are someone who packs every day, we would expect having to change this out at least once a year. If you care, clean and store it properly, however, that will dramatically increase the life of this packer.

Packability 3/5

Easy to pack with, just do not pack it against your bare skin. The material may irritate your skin. Using packing pouches or underwear is highly recommended. This packer will however, leave you with a nice small bulge, which is great for people who aren’t looking to pack with Hulk’s dick.

Budget Friendly 5/5

At only $15, this is one of the least expensive packers on the market (along with the Mr. Limpy, TPR Packer by Packer Gear and the Pack It Packer).

Reel Feel Test 4/5

Feels like a flaccid peen and could past the grab test.

Final Thoughts

With this packer, you get what you paid for. It’s only $15, which is one of the cheapest prices you can get for packers on the market. What makes this packer so cheap is the material that is used to make it. Most packers are made with platinum grade silicone and start at $50. Since this packer is not made with silicone, there are definitely some drawbacks. However, if this is the first time you are packing or you are looking to pack with something smaller, it’s not going to get better than this for only $15. Just remember, try packing pouches or underwear. Sensitive skin can get irritated easily with these types of materials.
