Overview
This is the least expensive silicone packer available on the market. Silicone packers usually cost over $40 and can go up to $500 in price. Packer Gear (Calexotics) has created this as a budget-friendly option for people who want an inexpensive packer but do not want to compromise on the material. Especially since silicone is usually skin-safe (great for people with sensitive skin). They have other packers, such as the TPR Packer, which is made out of a plastic rubber and is not very durable, but it’s only $12.
The Great
- Available in 4 different skin tones. Although there could be more choices, this company usually only does 2 skin tones. So we will put the 4 options as a ‘pro’.
- Budget friendly silicone packer
- Easy to clean, easy to sanitize and sterilize
- Creates a great bulge
The Not-so-Great
- Can feel a little sticky/tacky
- A little stiff and firm

Unboxing
This packer comes in a nicely branded box from Calexotics.
I know a lot of people wonder what the actual shipping box looks like and it’s tough to really say because this prosthetic is sold by many different online retailers. If you are ever unsure, you can always message the company you are purchasing from and ask them what they put on the box! The retailer that I prefer is Early2Bed and I can tell you that living in Canada and receiving a package from the USA, I’m always terrified the customs declaration form is going to say something like “big wiener”. Luckily, that has never happened with Early2Bed. They also didn’t even put the return address as “Early2Bed” they put “ETB”.
Fun little story, I ordered sex toys from Wish (as a joke for a video) once and one of the packages literally said “giant dildo” on the customs form. I’m sure the Canadian Border people had a nice laugh. I sure did.
Color
The Packergear Silicone Packer is available in 4 different skin tones. Depending on the website, you’re going to see different names describing the colors, like: Dark Brown as Chocolate, Light Brown as Caramel, Beige/Tan as Tan, and Light Beige as Ivory. The darkest shade is actually dark, which is fantastic and pretty hard to find in affordable packers!

Material and Feel
This packer is made of silicone and, although it is soft, it is a little sticky/tacky (especially after cleaning it). Adding a little corn starch (or other finishing powders) will help the packer be softer.
This packer is slightly heavier than the company’s other non-silicone packers. Having the packer be a little heavier in weight can both ease and increase dysphoria for some individuals. Some people like the weight because it makes them feel like there is something in their pants. While others do not like the weight as it makes them aware of their packer, where they would prefer to just wear it and forget about it. Wherever you fall within this issue, just be aware. If you are unsure if the weight of a packer will affect your dysphoria and/or bother you, this is a good tester pack for that as it is only $24!

Packing
Packing with this packer is fairly easy. Using a pair of tight briefs, packing underwear, packing pouches, or packing harnesses will do the job. The shaft is a little long however, and some people might find that it packs a little big (leaves a large bulge – even with the smaller sized packer).
Real Feel Test™
I didn’t know what else to call this section so I just came up with “Real Feel Test™” more as a joke but it’s also a really useful tool in understanding if a prosthetic actually looks realistic and feels realistic, not only to the touch, but through pants and underwear. If you’re going to buy a prosthetic for realism purposes, this is pretty important!
This packer visually looks realistic even though it is not custom painted and it only comes in the one solid color you chose.
If you or someone else were to touch this packer through underwear or pants it would feel like you have a semi-hard erection that is slowly going flaccid.
Without finishing powder (or corn starch), this packer feels sticky and not realistic. When adding some powder to it, the sensation . If you’re looking for a similar packer that feels more realistic, Packer Gear has their TPR Packer that is not made of silicone, however, it does feel more realistic than the silicone one.
Cleaning and Care
I recommend cleaning this product before and after each use. The 100% silicone component makes this packer easy to clean and sterilize. The easiest way to clean this product is with hot soapy water or by sticking it in the top row of the dishwasher. If you need to sterilize this product (which is recommended at least once a week), put it in a boiling pot of water for 3-5 minutes. Because this product is made of 100% silicone, boiling it should be 100% safe. Unless the manufacturers aren’t telling us something!
Even with intense cleaning, this packer is still a magnet for dust and hair. This is very common for silicone packers. If you find that the packer is tacky/sticky after cleaning it, I am a huge advocate of using cornstarch (or other rejuvenating powders) to maintain a smooth and silky texture.
*Please do not use talcum powder (most commonly found in baby powder), it has been associated with different types of cancers, mostly ovarian cancer. We have a full article on the dangers of talcum power here.
Storage
I recommend using the original packaging or a natural canvas bag. Place this product in a cool, dry, and dark place, like a dresser drawer. Do not store it with other similar-material products as those eventually can start to morph together, which is really not fun. Sometimes, these products secrete an oily texture and a canvas bag will help absorb this moisture. If you do not store your packer properly, overtime it can secrets oils and eventually lose its shape and size (it will become smaller).
Small Tip: Add a little bit of cornstarch to this product before storing it in a bag. This will help it’s life and longevity.
Full Rating
The silicone material makes this packer very durable. We don’t expect you to have to change out this packer yearly. However, if you do not clean, care and store it properly, it will significantly reduce its life.
Easy to pack with. Some people may feel the length of the shaft creates a large bulge and may look like a semi-hard erection (depending on the pants you are wearing).
For a silicone packer that is only $24! Yes it’s budget friendly! Most silicone packers start at $40, so this is definitely a bargain buy!
Feels pretty good.
Final Thoughts
The small size is big enough for more people. The shaft is very long already and passes over the balls. The large size might be a little too long and create a huge bulge. If you’re looking for a huge bulge, then that’s great! Large it is!
For a cheap silicone packer, although there are some pros and cons, it’s up there on our list of top packers to try if you are starting to pack. It’s great if you are testing out different packing sizes and packing weights. If you’ve packed in the past and are looking for something different (something NOT like the Mr. Limpy), but still in a close price point, this silicone packer will definitely be an upgrade!
