Metawurst from Grammas Sausages

Alrighty, here we are again with another review for Grammas Sausages. This is a small trans-owned business based in Kentucky. Today I’ll be looking at their Metawurst Packer. I was really intrigued the first time I saw this because it resembles what metoidioplasty looks like. Metoidioplasty also goes by the name “meta” and Grammas Sausages is big on naming their peens after, well, sausages, hence the “metawurst” name. If you’re unaware, metoidioplasty is a type of bottom surgery that is usually performed on trans masc and/or non-binary individuals. There are multiple different “configurations” to choose from when opting for this surgery. These are just two examples:

-Simple clitoral release – releasing the ligaments under and freeing the clitoris.

-The Works*: clitoral release, urethral lengthening, vaginectomy, testicle implants

*Please note that “the works” is not the actual name. I just wanted to demonstrate the dichotomy between the simple metoidioplasty and one that can include every procedure. Also note, everyone is different. Some people may opt for a release and testicles, but not do a vaginectomy and urethral lengthening. Any combination is (mostly) possible with this surgery.

Anyways, so this packer looks as if someone got the release, and testicle implants. What I really want to focus on is the actual shaft. I’ve never seen a packer that comes close to resembling what a metoidioplasty looks like. There are packers and sleeves out there that you can use if you’ve had metoidioplasty (such as the Banana Prosthetics MT line, The Rod from Transthetics, and more). If you’ve seen a packer that looks like a metoidioplasty, please let me know!

This packer is very customizable in terms of texture/firmness and there are multiple color options, which can also be customized. All of this will be explained further below.

The Not-so-Great

• The shaft sticks out, which can make it awkward to pack with
• The upper tab is large (but this can be trimmed if needed)
• Silicone is a little delicate, so you have to be careful not the rip it

Unboxing

I know a lot of people wonder what the actual shipping box looks like and it’s tough to really say because this prosthetic is sold by many different online retailers. If you are ever unsure, you can always message the company you are purchasing from and ask them what they put on the box! From what I’ve seen, Grammas Sausages is very discrete and does not put “DICK GIANT DICK” on their label.

Color

This packer is available in 4 different colors (called “roasts” on the website, again, going with the “sausages” and cooking vibes).

 Light, Medium, Dark, Well Done. The photo below demonstrates these skin shades (however, the photo is not of the Metawurst):

If none of these skin tones does it for you though, they do have the option to send in a photo of a penis with the skin tone you want, and they will custom color it for you. There is usually a $50 charge for custom coloring.

I actually really like the size of this packer. Again, because it looks like a metoidioplasty, the size is very realistic to someone who has had a good amount of growth while being on testosterone. This packer is also a great option for smaller individuals and people who like a smaller packer where the balls are GIANT, but still a nice size and shape. There are other packers out there with smaller shafts, but the balls are also tiny. I like that this packer has a small shaft but a nicely sized scrotum.

Material and Feel

This packer did not disappoint in terms of textural feeling. Grammas Sausages usually nails it with their silicone, so I wasn’t worried. What is very cool about this packer is that you are able to choose the density you want. You have 2 options:

F3OG – This is a dual-density silicone. Meaning there is a harder core inside, and the outer is going to be squishier.

F3+ – This is a tri-density texture silicone. This is the one I have and I absolutely am in love with it. I love when packers are dual-density because feeling an inner core in the shaft feels so realistic to me. The F3+ texture does that AND more. It just feels like the skin is sliding on the inner core, making it feel like you’re touching a penis.

You also have the option to do a regular scrotum, or one with “floating” testicles. Honestly, I love me a good pair of floating balls. It’s fun to play with and it really helps elevate the overall realistic appearance and feel of the packer. For me, the packing experience is amplified when balls are included.

In terms of the packer actually feeling like skin, I would say that it feels more realistic than your standard packer from Banana Prosthetics or New York Toy Collective. Those are mostly 1-layer silicone products and the silicone is usually a little hard. Because the Metawurst (that I have) utilizes the tri-density silicone technique, the outer layer feeling soft and squishy really adds to the realistic skin feeling.

If you look closely at this packer, you’ll notice the small details that help elevate the realistic look of it. Little veins along the shaft,  well sculpted scrotum, and great skin tone match along the entire packer. By this I mean that the packer isn’t just one color. They have emphasized the head of the penis and they have made the balls a couple of shades darker. This is what a scrotum usually looks like. It’s very rare that anyone’s anatomy is going to be the same color throughout. 

Packing

I’ve decided to show you what the packer looks like when you push the shaft down, as well as leaving the shaft more erect (it’s normal shape).

I really like packing this way. I feel like it gave me a much bigger bulge than I expected, which I liked. When I put the shorts over the packing underwear, I feel like it made the bulge look even better.

Now, I really appreciate the realism here because this is exactly what I feel like my junk would look like if I had meta. If this was a surgery I was seriously considering, I would absolutely wear this packer all the time to get used to the feel. Of course, nothing can replace actual surgery, but having something similar before surgery to prepare yourself, is a great idea!

Overall, I do like the way this packer sits when packing (down) with it. It’s not my favorite silhouette ever, I feel like their Andoillette packer gives me almost everything I want in a packer in terms of what it looks like while packing.

Real Feel Test™

After extensive research and months of trying these packers out. I can confidently say that they pass the Real Feel Test ™.

This packer feels so good and so real when you rub your hand on it through pants or underwear. No matter which density you choose (F3OG or F3+), it’s going to feel very squishy, but with a little touch of hardened inner core. Just wow.

Cleaning and Care

The 100% silicone component makes the Metawurst extremely easy to clean. Clean it before and after each use. The easiest way to clean this packer is with hot soapy water. If you need to sterilize it (which I recommend doing at least once a week if you wear it everyday), stick the packer in a boiling pot of water for 3-5 minutes. Because this has a paint job (airbrushed), the more you clean/boil it, eventually the colors will fade. This is normal for any packer or prosthetics that is airbrushed.

If you find that the packer is tacky/sticky after cleaning it, I am a huge advocate of using cornstarch (or other rejuvenating powders) to maintain a smooth and silky texture.

*Please do not use talcum powder (most commonly found in baby powder), it has been associated with different types of cancers, mostly ovarian cancer. We have a full article on the dangers of talcum power here.

Storage

I recommend using the original packaging or a natural canvas bag. Place this product in a cool, dry, and dark place, like a dresser drawer. Do not store it with other types of material products (such as TPR/Rubber packers) as those eventually can start to morph together, which is really not fun. If you do not store your packer properly, it can greatly affect it’s longevity.

Small Tip: Add a little bit of cornstarch to this product before storing it in a bag. This will help its life and longevity.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I really like the concept for this packer. Having something that looks like metoidioplasty is really smart, especially for people who want surgery but can’t have it or people who are planning this surgery and want to make sure this look and size is right for them.

I just need to say this again but squishing the shaft on this packer is absolutely amazing. A couple of weeks ago the company asked me what my favorite packer from them was and I said, without hesitation, the Metawurst. Solely because of the silicone feeling and the inner core of the shaft being a little hard. I just wish this packer didn’t poke out as much while packing. They actually send me a different packer, the Andoillette, which has the same inner core and WOW, just, every packer they send me just gets better and better.
