Deluxe Trans Masc Pump by New York Toy Collective Review

Great to get your dick hard and/or grow your dick (even without growth!)

Overview

The Deluxe Transmasc Pump from the New York Toy Collective is the first trans-specific manual pump on the market*. In the past, we have used pumps that were not made for trans people, which means the packaging and info were not specific to our bodies (such as the “size matters” and “nipple suckers”). I can’t even begin to explain how horrible and dysphoria-inducing some of these packages were!

Now, there is a new player in town, and all I have to say is that I am living for this pump! The original version of this pump only came with 1 cylinder size, however, their deluxe one has 3 cylinders! No matter what your size is, this pump has got you covered! Theres some pros and cons of this product, however, overall it’s a fantastic pump that I used regularly.

*Note there are prosthetic peens on the market that are used as pumps, such as the BJ Dildo by Number One Laboratory and the Lollipop by Transthetics that are made for trans people specifically. These are not technically pumps.

The Not-so-Great

• Cannot remove the pump from the cylinder. Pump needs to be attached the entire time
• Does not have a pressure gauge to see how much pressure is being applied
• Medium and Large cylinder have the same hole width, making it a little useless

Unboxing

The Transmas Pump comes in one of the best packaging I’ve ever seen for a trans-related product (and I’ve seen thousands!). Not only is this box bright and colorful, the image on the front represents my body. Now, of course it is not going to represent everyone in the community, their identities, or how their body looks, but seeing someone with scars on their chest on the front of this box is a magical feeling.

Let’s spend a little more time on this box because there is another diagram on here that made me so happy when I saw it. This is a small image on the side of the box of someone using the pump but it’s obvious that the person has growth. That is so empowering to see. Most packages use stock images or images that do not represent our bodies or how we see ourselves. 

Anyways, I almost never rate packaging, but this is a 5/5 for me in terms of inclusivity and information!

Inside the box, the pump and cylinders come in a big plastic bag. There is also a sticky measuring tape to attach to the different cylinders so you can measure your peen when it’s inside! The cylinders are protected with some bubble wrap.

I know a lot of people wonder what the actual shipping box looks like and it’s tough to really say because this prosthetic is sold by many different online retailers. If you are ever unsure, you can always message the company you are purchasing from and ask them what they put on the box! The retailer that I prefer is Early2Bed and I can tell you that living in Canada and receiving a package from the USA, I’m always terrified the customs declaration form is going to say something like “big weiner”. Luckily, that has never happened with Early2Bed. They also didn’t even put the return address as “Early2Bed” they put “ETB”. 

Hole Sizes

This pump comes with 3 different cylinders.

Small: 2” / 5cm long, the hole is 1” / 2.5cm  in diameter
Medium: 3” / 7.6cm long, the hole is 1.25” / 3.2cm in diameter
Large: 4” / 10cm long, the hole is 1.25” / 3.2cm in diameter

Using

This pump is very easy to use. Simply put it over your junk, you can either try to just get your peen in there or you can do this and add all the extra tissue around (lips). The most important part is that it is tightly up against you. This will help the cylinder stay suctioned to you. 

Once it’s placed onto you, make sure the pressure value is closed and start pumping. If it’s your first time, you have to go slow. You don’t want to over pump, trust me, it hurts. I would try 2-3 pumps and see how you feel. Once you have a good pump/suction going, you can keep your peen in there for as long as you want. I usually do 30 seconds or else I go numb. You can technically stay in there for hours but please don’t do this. You could lose sensitivity and sensation in your peen!

When you feel like you are ready for the suction to end, simple press the release value. You can also move the skin around where the cylinder is and that should break the seal. I would NOT recommend trying to just rip the pump off your peen while it’s suctioned. It’s going to be incredibly painful.

While using it, I found that the only real issue what the sizes of the cylinders. The small one is perfect for someone with no growth or a little bit of growth. The medium one is PERFECT for me and my junk. I love the size of the whole and the length of the cylinder. Now, the large one is just useless to me because it’s the exact same as the medium, except its a little longer. For me personally, I see no point in it because my peen doesn’t even reach the tippy-top of the medium. However!!! If you have had metoidioplasty, this could be an option for you. I still think the medium one would be best because it is very rare that someone is over 3” long in growth, even with metoidioplasty. But it’s there as an option.

Cleaning and Care

I recommend cleaning the cylinder with some warm water and soap before and after each use. Try not to clean the handle too much though because water can get stuck in it and create an area for bacteria to grow.

Storage

I recommend using the original packaging or a natural canvas bag. Place this product in a cool, dry, and dark place, like a dresser drawer. 

Final Thoughts

When I first got the Transmas Pump, I was very impressed by the look and feel of it. Now that the Deluxe version includes 3 different sized cylinders, that makes it even better! The longer sizes of the cylinders might seem excessively long, but trust me, once you get your junk in there and the tissue around it, you’ll be surprised at how good this pump “pumps” everything up and you definitely have a much bigger peen after pumping! You can pump daily to try to get your peen to grow more permanently!

Again, very impressed. This product deserves a 5/5 rating. This is not something I give out often, so this goes under our “fantastic products for the community” list for sure!
