Buck-Off Sleeve Review

One of the first mainstream sleeves made for trans masc people!

Overview

This product is discontinued, however, I think it’s still important to keep this review up because some people may still have it and would like some information on it!

The Buck-off was one of the first mainstream masturbation sleeves to hit the market that was designed exclusively for trans masc individuals on testosterone. It’s made by Perfect Fit in collaboration with Buck Angel (Former FTM porn star). The number one thing I look for when it comes to masturbation sleeves is suction, especially suction when pulling it on and  off (like jacking it off), and unfortunately, this sleeve really doesn’t have much suction at all. The only way to really get that feeling is to put ALL your lips and extra tissue around and try to get a nice seal to it. You’ll for sure need a good amount of growth and tissue in that area! However, this product did come out with a small version, the Kiss-X, which is reviewed here

The Not-so-Great

Unboxing

The packaging of this sleeve is actually pretty cool and professional looking. Perfect Fit is a larger company, so having fancy packaging is possible. Most other products on the market are hand-made and the packaging is minimal. I’m not complaining at all! I love how different each packaging can get. I can also appreciate when a fancy package makes it on my desk!

Hole Size

The Buck-off is 17mm or .66” and can stretch a lot.

Material and Feel

The Buck-off is made of “SilaSkin” which is a rubber mix that gives the product the texture of soft skin. This is great for people looking for some realistic soft textures, however, there are some drawbacks to this type of material. This material is porous, which means bateria can easily live within its walls. Cleaning is the best way to avoid latching bateria, however this is not a sleeve/toy that you can sterilize, so you really need to clean it properly and often.

When coming right out of the box, the Buck-Off feels very soft. After you’ve washed it a couple of times, it starts to get sticky and little dust, dirt, and hairs can get stuck on it. The best thing you can do is secure it in a canvas bag with some cornstarch. The cornstarch will help it retain its softness.

Using

Using this sleeve is pretty easy and straightforward, especially if you have growth. Put your peen in as much as you can. If you want, feel free to add the little ligaments attached to the underside of the peen (lips). This can add additional sensation. Once it is secured on, do an up and down motion. Since the hole in the Buck-off is a little big, you might have to use your hands more to squish the sleeve for extra pleasure. 

If you do not have any growth, this sleeve is hard to use since the hole is so big. I would recommend looking into the Kiss-X as the hole is much smaller and it is easier to use for people with little to no growth, however, it was also discontinued.

Cleaning and Care

I recommend cleaning this product before and after each use. 

This product is made with a mix of rubber, silicone and other materials. The easiest way to clean this packer is with hot soapy water. I usually recommend sterilizing your packer at least once a week in a pot of boiling water, and/or sticking it in the dishwasher, however, because this sleeve is not 100% silicone,  soapy water is the only option.

If you find that the sleeve is tacky/sticky after cleaning it, I always recommend using cornstarch (or other rejuvenating powders) to maintain a smooth and silky texture.

*Please do not use talcum powder (most commonly found in baby powder), it has been associated with different types of cancers, mostly ovarian cancer. We have a full article on the dangers of talcum power here.

Storage

I recommend using the original packaging or a natural canvas bag. Place this product in a cool, dry, and dark place, like a dresser drawer. Do not store it with other similar-material products as those eventually can start to morph together, which is really not fun. Sometimes, these products secrete an oily texture and a canvas bag will help absorb this moisture. 

If you do not store your stroker properly, overtime it can secret oils and eventually lose its shape and size (it will become smaller).

Small Tip: Add a little bit of cornstarch to this product before storing it in a bag. This will help it’s life and longevity.

Final Thoughts

Even though it’s discontinued, In its prime, it was pretty cool to have a sleeve come out from a major company. However, this sleeve is definitely not for everyone. This masturbator is made for people who have growth, and even at that, you need to have a good amount of growth in order to use it.
